Our goal is to see 100 communities engaged for transformation by the year 2020. Our Gateway department, along with the rest of the YWAM Melbourne family, is committed to being a gateway to the nations, releasing people, resources and ministries into the world harvest field, equipping YWAMers with the tools needed to have maximum effectiveness in the nations God has sent them.

We do this by promoting missions awareness, informing the base of opportunities to serve overseas and organising prayer for the nations we target. We assist those we send out by providing information on how to adjust to a new culture, how to stay healthy, organising banking, insurance, and legalities. We recognise that it's not enough to just send people out, but we want to keep them there, and we do this through providing pastoral care and support.
