Mission Builders
At YWAM Melbourne we have people volunteer as Mission Builders from all over the world. We invite you to come and join us, serve for a week or a few months and experience missions in a whole new way; make new friendships, get refreshed and broaden your perspective, grow in your faith in a live/learn environment. Volunteer and get involved in missions, travel with a purpose and be a part of a fun, exciting youth centre.
What is a Mission Builder?
A Mission Builder is someone who goes to a YWAM base for between 1-3 months to lend a helping hand, using their skills and knowledge in a particular area. So whatever your skills or abilities we would love you to come and be a part of our family here at YWAM Melbourne.
Who can be a Mission Builder?
Mission Building is open to all ages and professions, skilled or unskilled. We have had Mission Builders serve here with us ranging in age from 18-100??? Mission Builders do not have to have done a DTS or have been involved with YWAM previously.In the past few years we have Mission Builders come and work in the areas of Graphic Design, childcare, hospitality, kitchen, maintenance, accounts & finances, IT and computers and more....
How much does it cost to Mission Build at YWAM Melbourne?
As you are coming to serve us, your food and accommodation are
FREE! Once you are accepted you just need to get yourself here and
pay any extra costs such as visas, health insurance etc! We
recommend you have at least $50 AUD per week for other expenses
such as travel, entertainment, personal items etc.
