jesus is the center of my life, without him i can not succeed! I love Him whole heartedly! He is my life. July 2009 Jesus Christ found my heart.
This love is like no other. We cant see it, but we can feel it. This love is not just a feeling, it is an action. This love is about Jesus Christ. To set our wants and desires aside to take care of others wants and needs. To show kindness, caring, and full love to those who are not respectful or loving back. This love changes your life. It changes your heart. Your heart will gro larger, you love more, you care more. This love does not hate, this love does not break peace or peace face, this love does not gossip, this love does not disrespect. This love changes you. No matter the pain of struggling, grief, loss, sorrow, failure; it does not matter because this love embraces you so strong that you dont care about those struggles no more. This love will lead you to eternity, eternal love and life with your Lord Jesus Christ.

Hey Kaylee - have been thinking about you and want to say hi and see whether you are still wanting to come as time is getting pretty close. We currently have 13 students on the school with about 4 more like you, who are interested but haven't sent in their application yet. Please let me know if you'd like me to call you or to be praying for anything specific. There is still time and we would love to have you with us....bless ya Kate
oh I see. yeah it seems like there's always loose ends to tie up. I'd encourage you to just keep working on it as much as possible and not leave it until last minute. I find it really helpful to do as much as i can and then just pray that God will guide me. And he'll guide you, even if you still think money is an obstacle, just take that step of faith and He'll meet you.
Hey friend - just wanted to let you know that the current student list for the YMDTS is up on the SEPYM page - you should check it out and then add them as friends and start talking!! Bless ya Kate
Hey Kaylee - not sure if I replied to your last comment - just send each bit in as you get them done but we won't start processing the application till we have all the sections in. If you don't have feel your pastor knows you enough to fill in the form then have a think about someone who has a level of spiritual authority in your life (eg youth leader, mentor, cell group leader) and have them fill it in!! Bless ya Kate
well i'm still in New Zealand but i'll be coming home on Sunday. My trip was delayed a week so I left later than i orginally planned.but i got my visa to it's been a successful trip! haha
So did you send in all your stuff? They'll send you an email or something like that to let you know. Trust me you'll know. haha
To answer your question I enjoy the performing arts and that's what i'm doing at the moment. I'm going to be helping to run the performing arts DTS in September so i'm so excited about that. So yeah, singing, dancing, drama all that jazz. I like it. haha
wow kaylee! What an awesome story! I love that you're learning to trust God so much during this time. That's so exciting that you've found a place to live, I pray that God will bless that home and make it an encouraging environment for you.
Yeah God has been doing some strange/good things as well. I'm living Australia for a short trip to New Zealand because of visa complications so i guess God wanted me to have a bit of a holiday, haha but now i'm just praying that this ash cloud over here moves so I can actually fly out.
as to your application you can send in what you have and then just send an email to registrar once you do and explain what you're waiting on. =)
Hi KAylee - just read your message - praying for you friend!! God has us all on a unique journey that I believe is all about relationship with him, with each other and with the world. I'm on a crazy ride right now with him and although I have many questions and feel very shaky I do know that he is with me and that he is a good Dad who gives good gifts to his kids and thats what I'm holding on to right now!! you can too - bless ya Kate
I totally understand the difficulty of leaving your family and friends. But i've found that especially with some friends, God really pulled me away from friendships that weren't uplifting..and there were a lot. The majority of my friends in high school weren't christian so when i came home after my DTS i just had to watch how my attitude would change when i was around some of my friends. As for family, God had blessed me with a supportive one and i've seen MUCH break through with siblings that aren't christian and my relationship with my parents has actually grown since i've been away because i've learned to really appreciate them. If your family supportive of missions?
I'm from Greensboro, North Carolina which is about an hour away from Raleigh, the capital.
