YEAHHHH! I just can't wait to meet everyone! my plans are visiting a lot of my friends at different colleges (a mini road trip around PA) then saying my goodbyes at home. and a whole lot of packing!!!!! whatchur plans?! when's your flight arrive over there?

that's amazing (what a goal to have)! yes it's INSANE, i leave in a week and a day! I still can't believe it. have you met up with anyone that will be at the DTS?

Woaw! That sounds like much longer than my flight, and I thought mine was a long journey for me. How long will you be flying?

How did I decide on Melbourne? Hmmm...well... it's a bit of a long story... I didn't want to go anywhere I knew people 'cos I wanted to focus and grow in my relationship with God but also step out in faith in meeting new peeps. So, I've looked at YWAM website and searched for a DTS which started in Sept/Oct, which was in English speaking countries other than US, Canada and UK. There was lots of places for Australia so I looked through YWAM Aus. site and out of all the DTSs, this one was the only Youth Ministries one that I could find, which is perfect for me as I've been training and working as a youth worker. So I prayerfully applied and prepared for it. God has been confirming Melbourne to me though throughout the last few weeks. I had someone from my church whom I didn't get to talk often with tell me that she was going to Melbourne for a family reunion in Sept. and she didn't know then that I was planning to go there for DTS. Then I had to collect a minibus from a nearby town for youth camping trip and the place was called Melbourne Ave., and I had another old friend Facebook me out of the blue saying that he was in Melbourne for a business trip and left me a message. God has also been helping through my preparations too. How about you? How did you decide on Melbourne?

It's great to hear about your finances for your study. I hope and pray that God will provide the full amount for you.
It's only 2 weeks now! I'm starting to get really excited despite all the things that still needs to be done and even without a visa yet.

Hi Travis,
I've noticed that your going to be part of Sept DTS. Me too!
So, it'll be nice to get to know you abit before we get there.
There seems to be quite a few peeps from US on this DTS, do you know or met any of them yet? I'm based in England and got to know few people who's going from here but haven't met any1 yet. Looking forward to it though and we've only got about 3 weeks!!

London is very grand indeed! I love London - it is very different from the small places I grew up etc...! Your job sounds ace - how much longer are you working there?! Glad you got accepted etc...nice to have September confirmed - you now getting things like flights/visas sorted?!
