Update from the Mozambique Team!!
Hi friends,
Hope all has been well with you! Our team has been in Johannesburg for the past week. Our host is Cedric, and he has been a wonderful host to us!
Over the past week, we've been doing prayer walks, went to a Fire Conference, where we were all ministered to by the Holy Spirit. It has been a week of getting exposed to our environment, as well as preparing our spirit for the Mozambique trip. While we were here, Cedric's wife, Jenny, ministered to us and prayed for us. It was a time similar to what Mark Parker, one of our speakers during our DTS phase, has done for us. We had a good time of confessing our sins, and being reconciled with each and to God. We also attended church with Cedric and his family, and the church also prayed for us for our trip to Mozambique.
As for the more physical side of things, we've also been challenging each other to do 100 push ups/ sit ups daily, preparing our own sermons to preach, dramas to act, buying our tickets to Mozambique, applying for visas and collecting tickets. We also went to a lion park yesterday with Cedric and his children, patting the lion cubs and feeding the tall giraffe (who had the drool flying all over after his sticks his tongue out!).
Over the next few weeks, we'll be in Mozambique working with Iris Ministries, doing some children work and working with YWAM Maputo as well.
